Granor Passi (Pty) Ltd, a leading fruit processor in South Africa, with its Head Office situated in Polokwane (Limpopo), seeks to employ a Cashier in Letsitele shop to effectively manage activities of the cash shop and marketing strategy related to the cash shop and our products. The incumbent will report to the Account Manager.
Position: Cashier
Purpose:
To effectively manage activities of the cash shop and marketing strategy related to the cash shop and our products.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all sales activities and cash sales or transactions through the shop
- Proper communication with customers regarding sales, pricing, promotions and product launches.
- Ensure effective and efficient Customer Service always
- Effectively do and oversee activities such as stock counts, sales transactions and cash reconciliations
- Compile and maintain all cash shop related reports and records
- Maintain and verify stock levels with daily and monthly stock counts, reports and stock orders
- Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures
- Assist with the administrative duties related to the Shop
- Actively market, promote and carry out Granor Passi Corporate Brand to both internal and external contacts.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and maintain presentable display of stock and pricing at all times
- Working or operating in accordance with safe work procedures.
- Promote Granor Passi products
- Do any other legal and reasonable duties as and where instructed by a duly authorised company official.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting or equivalent qualification
- 2 years’ experience in a shop environment.
- Experience as a cashier is a must
- Have no criminal record
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills, bilingual
- Able to handle pressure
